just the usual 123456  haha sounds sad but what i was doing to protect my connection was to just remove the aerial from the box when i was not using it

im guessing that when i use my laptop i will now need to enter the password in the wireless settings to get onto the network.?.

yeah, if you save the key in the wireless network setting or in the program you use to connect to your wireless, you shouldn't need to enter it again.
XP is *usually* pretty straight forward connecting to a secure wireless network

Yup I love goin wireless its great, jst sit off in the house anywhere. even out in the garden since its the suns startin to shine.
