POLICE have failed to get an order to prevent a serial streaker baring all at today's Grand National.
Merseyside police fear 42-year-old Liverpudlian Mark Roberts could streak at the big race, which he has invaded twice before.
They applied for an Asbo to ban him from all major public spectacles. He is opposing the application, so police asked for an interim order to cover the National at Aintree, but it was refused at Wirral Magistrates' Court.
Speaking from home Mr Roberts said he had no intention of streaking today.
He said: "I'm opposing the Asbo because I don't believe what I do is anti-social, or causes distress. I'm not going to Aintree anyway. I've told the police that ."
His previous Grand National streaks were in 1996, when he wore only a cowboy hat and false moustache and in 1999. He has also streaked at the Open golf tournament, Crufts and the floating weather map used by TV show This Morning.

Lol, I wouldnt exactly class it as anti-social either to be totally honest. Im not surprised the ASBO wasnt awarded.
