some good ones there.

1st one.

Alot of work gone into it, but not to my personal taste, few dodgy bits but good.

2nd one.

around the wheels looks very dodgy. Like the original better, but good effort

3rd one

Rear wheel a bit dodgy, not sure about the over all yellow/black thing but excellent effort

4th one

roof looks a little tatty, but good for getting rid of the roof rack and bringing the nostalga back in a fairly accurate version of herbie.

5th one

Not much different from the original, but i suppose that isnt such a bad thing

6th one

Not much different from original, but different enough to look really good as mods are very tasteful.

wonder who will win?

Will the winner be named chopper of the year, or will the points be added to the league?

i quite like the civic 2006

Both.Your custom title (if your eligable for one) will be Chopper of the year '05 (heehee, chopper is an insult) or somethin similar, also points are described in the battle opening topic

My vote goes to the astra estate. Altho some parts of it have resolution issues its all cleanly put together. The angle match to the EVO front is incredible.Dont like the bint inside the car tho a)shes awful
b)lo res

1st one is sweetly made but paint is too plain,if it was coloured it wudda got my vote
2nd one is great but the wheels are too big i think sending it out of proportion
3rd one-as explained above
4th one is a very good herbie replica but just not my bag-baby
5th one is ok,but not enough things done really
6th one is pretty sexy but not much done again, its previous incarnation was ace but that entry was withdrawn

They are pretty damn swish, hard to find faults with a few of them, lets see what i can pick out lol...

1) Great work with the wide arch kit, runs into the car really smoothly. But I think the exhausts are different sizes and not really to my taste. Would be nicer with some colour.

2) Nice touch with the intercooler, looks quite smart. Colour is sweet. The arches look a bit suspect though and as said the wheels are a bit too big. There's not really enough done to take my vote. Sorry.

3) One of the driving lamps look a bit wonky and the black graphic down the side looks a bit wierd in places. The cf stripe down the bonnet is a nice touch. I think the bitch is a huge improvement over the original but as scoop said a little bit too low res for the image. A sweet overall job though.

4) Fantastic Herbie replica, only things wrong i can see are the soft top not following the roofline, the chrome wheels giving the wrong reflection, and one indicator is clear, the other is orange! Oh and there's a floating bogy behind the car. All are easy mistakes to make, I think whoever did it deserves big respect for managing to get rid of the roofrack.

5) How did the resolution get worse? Can't say I'm all too keen on this one, most of the work is quite messy and imo not very tasteful. Good try at the 2dr conversion but need a bit more practice to make it a neat job as there is an odd pillar inside the car and the c pillar looks very iffy. I like the head-up display though.

6) Looks absolutely fantastic, but then so does the base image. I wouldn't have chosen such a good looking car to start with because it's so hard to make them better, hence why there isn't that much done. Would love to own a car that looked that good but I'm afraid it won't be getting my vote.

Saying that I'm still not sure who I am gonna vote for, I think it's gonna be between the civic hatch, the astra estate, and the beetle. Will have to give it some more thought.

The resolution on the vec' got worse becasue someone gave it to photobucket, who shrink the image to 250kb max so it needed to lower the res.Wheras the CW server maintains a high quality on battle images Always an idea to send it via E-mail as an attatchment.

Voted santa

That was difficult.

In the end ive gone for flawless.
Meaing no shadow / joint errors.
Things fit smoothly and not out of place.

And technical difficulty.

That's how my eyes see it.

But there all great, just me being a picky bloke.

Good Luck everyone.
