As the title says. The eBay auction for my car ends tomorrow night and it's already met the reserve. I'm gonna be stuck with my dads isuzu after it gets picked up until I can find one of these!
Looking for something with under 90K on the clock with service history and I have a £2000 budget.
Find me what you can!

The build quality of the old rover/Uk honda built civic's is IMO questionable and doesn't compare to Jap/American built civics (don't get me wrong, the engines are the teg engine but the body work feels very cheap).
Personally, for towing etc i would think you might be better buying a non-turbo subaru as they have loads more torque and the build quality is slightly better than the UK civic.

Non-turbo subaru packs 115bhp and would cost just as much to insure, tax, and more to fuel than the 170bhp VTi. Looked at getting a T2000 (like shadows) but the insurance and fuel costs would cripple me - It'd be over £2K for insurance! Compared to the £1200 for the VTi. I've spent nearly 2 months looking into what to get next, this really is the best I could find. For an estate I love the shape of them too, kind of a cross between an impreza estate and an E36 estate.
Lund, thanks mate but that's the 5dr hatch, I want the Aerodeck (estate) as insurance is more on the hatch and imo they're too common. I'm keeping my eye on eBay and Autotrader so if anyone knows of anything anywhere else please let me know!

Thanks mate, I'm watching the vti on eBay but the milage is a bit too high and it has no service history. The other two on eBay would be worse than my car for towing as one has the same engine but standard, the other (1.6) has the same power but is a heavier car. The two on yahoo are accord aerodecks mate, I need a civic aerodeck. Thanks for the last link, I can't believe they want £2800 for it!! That's a grand more than mine was for "buy it now". I got little more than half that for mine in the end! And it has "those" alloys *shudder*
