I was happily in the land of nod tonight and guess what woke me up, My Clifford alarm smack

OKay its probably a false alarm but you gota get up and check just incase its a smackhead attempting to have your car off.

So, I grabs my dressing gown and legs it downstairs to ave a look.

Checks the car out, No-One there as expected but now i am sitting here in a fricken pink dressing gown (Thought it was my dressing gown, Honest) not being able to sleep and havin a fag....

Dont you want to kill Mr Clifford.

Does anyone know a local Clifford Alarm dealer so i can get this repaired as its not doing my sleep or image any fricken good.

(Rant Over).........

"Safe and Sound" in chester are good i hear smile

For about £30-£50 they'll plug a computer into your alarm and tell you the alert history and why its gone off (like which sensor caused the alarm to go off etc) The price seems a bit harsh considering they'll just be plugging in a computer to your car buts they know you'll want it done so will have to pay frown

hth smile

My clifford has an activation history which u can activate via the interior keypad. Tells u the last 5or10 reasons why it went off in a series of beeps.

Somethin like
1 beep for doors
2 beeps for bonnet
3 beeps for boot
4 beeps for impact
5 beeps for low battery

Not the actual answers but its very similar to that, read the instructions and u will find out y

Maybe the wind blew it too much or some pisshead touched it as he walked by?

Scooby you just cant get your head around Cliffords can you! lol

Somewhere in your car (hidden) will be the adjuster for the microwave sensitivity controller, its a little smaller than a match box and has a red led and a turn screw. If you loosen screw it makes alarm less sensitive and vice vera

Sometimes if its too sensitive the microwaves actually sense moving objects outside, the escort had this fault.

my car done that once or twice, but after i turned it down i checked it and i could climb around the car without it goin off. I reckon it was just somethin in the car moving. Like a fly or somethin,or something in the location it was "hidden"

They're too much trouble. I've removed the siren while I'm working on it, and the battery is disconnected because it makes such a big deal about opening the door and getting in and starting the thing. I used to sit off in the car on my lunch breaks, but would have to sit absolutely still for 1/2 hour in case it went off.

The other week it went off at about 2am in the morning. It was a case of alarm goes off, go down and deactivate alarm, go to bed, one minute later woowoowoowoowoowoo. It did that about three times before I disconnected the battery.
It does it's job a bit too well I think.

smack smack smack

You need to put into Valet Mode, it turns immobilisor on but everything else off

Do this by pressing left 2 buttons at same time and LED should stay ON

it turns the immobiliser off too valet mode, u should use it you numpty. Everythin about the alarm is programmable, u can stop it auto arming u can stop it autolocking, u can do loads, u just have to know the system. I want my concept 300 in the Si as it does its job well. Tinted windows are very bad for the alarm as are metallic objects in the cabin

I had no idea about that. I have the manual, just never looked at it.
Any other tricks you can do?
