As youve pobably guessed I am going to be making a roll cage in work for the herald. I want to fabricate it so i can then fit it in the car at home eg not weld it in position. So i think i will flange it so i can get it through the car doors and bolt it together. Has any1 got a roll cage that can do this cause I would like to know what the flanges look like and where about they generally go. Any help or pics will be great.

What point cage will it be matey 4/6 point???
C&B pillor bars should go in as 1 (bars/legs at the back and middle so to speak) and then the A bar with the roof lining bar should go in last.
Its easy to do this in 2 stages built alot of them when doing my stockcars you can do it in 2 stages not problem just make sure the inside of the car is stripped.
You can build the front and back of the cage and fit it in without making it weeker with to many flanges.
Will try and dig out some pics i have.
If this dosent make any sence phone me mate or i can come rnd and show you.
