Lol, Its getting rid of the 2 smaller turbos to make way for a big one A pair of turbos give good response and low end power, but due to space, you cant get 2 really big ones in there, so your restricted to your top end power - Around 650bhp on the GTRs with a twin setup. A single turbo means changing the manifold to get either a bottom mount turbo, or a top mount(sits above the manifold) where theres even more space for an even bigger turbo Singles give great top end power, but are laggy and take a while to boost up Hope that covers it

could you do anything to make it accelerate quicker say 1000-****rpm for when the turbo kicks in, something to eliminate the lag whilst the turbo spins up??

I'd stick with the twin setup. I don't see many advantages over a single large one compared to a small and a large turbo.

A decent shot of NOS may halp it lower down, though at the moment, it comes on boost quite low with the t28's with ceramic internals. Scooby, could you really hit the Nitrous that low on the rev range? Best way / another way to eliminate lag - is improve engine capacity
