I'm biting the bullet and gonna get a set of 17's for the Fez once me loans in me bank account Been asking around today and its looking VERY expensive, but I think it'll be worth it Not seen a Fez on 17's before Looks like what I'm needing are coilovers or a cheaper option of shocks and springs and ALOT of arch work! Just want peoples opinions if you guys n girls think it'll be worth it? Or should I just put up with expensive tyre costs and go with 16's? I really want to have 17's, be different from all the other MK3's with 15's Prove people it CAN be done Please let me know peeps

Saw em in a brochure today in Autofast and the furious
the 16's are black centre with a chrome outer rim, around £500
the 17's are a little bit like Maverick's old wheels but they aint out till July, gotta wait 5 weeks for em

Meesh, shreks wheels are for sale mate for a very modest price. Brand new tires all round but the rims do need reconditioning. Smae style as mavs but chrome and the spokes are thinner. Wud accept 300 for them mate

To be honest mate putting 17's on a Fiesta aint really that different, people have been doing it for years. Coilovers are helpful but you'd still need arch work, you could put a set of shocks and springs on like my old ones and get arch work done Its only worth going for coilovers if your into having great handling and need to adjust it often to various reasons etc Wouldn't bother with 16's for the simple fact that the tyres cost a bomb! Go for 17's get the suspension done first, and take your car to a bodyshop when you get the wheels and tell them to fit them and do all the necessary arch work whilst the wheels are being put on

I dont think black with a chome lip would suit your car to be honest meesh Maybe a normal alloy, polished alloy, paint a section of a normal alloy the asme colour of your car, like on that red/glitter fiesta with the delorian styles doors at the nationals??

I want either the Wolfrace 17's or the Koya 16's at the moment If it ends up being too much work and the car looking wrong jacked up on 17's I'll take the Koya's

my 15's are still for sale same as scoops but in A1 condition and going for the same price and they come with brand new tyres.
Back to topic i think 16's are cool but as your not running as much power as you would like smaller wheels will help so go for 15's.

17 my lad. make sure you remember though you will have to sort out some lowering for the fizz or you will look like scooby. if you have springs you can go to halfords and get some spring clamps . it will work out about 10 pound a wheel. there no the best way but it will do you for the time being. i done it to my rear suspension and i was really made up with it. do it meash

So for 17's I'd need shocks, springs AND a lowering kit?

Aftermarket shocks and springs like Koni, Spax, G-Max etc all come with anything between 30-80mm lower than standard ride height. What andy was talking about are spring clamps that can be used on your current suspension
