Someone help me, I can't find a body kit for my astra. I want something subtle, coz it ain't exactly fast (!) Just want something to boost the value and make it look a little better.

Any ideas peeps?

Forgot to mention it's got a tow bar (I feel naked driving a car without one!) So if the rear bumper didn't clear it I'd have to make some holes. Here's a pic for any ideas.

to boost value gettin an after market kit aint gonna do ya ne favours. if ya wana up the value and stay subtle with either go for sum splitters or a little more expensive a gsi kit!!!

i recomend that u get rid of the tow bar. uve got ur jeep to tow stuff?? i agree with towny the gsi kit is sweet, me mate got 1 on his sliver astra looks mint!

splitters are little plastic bumpers on the bottom of ur bumper! i used to hab

that gsi kit has had sum mods done to that. its had the fogs smoothed and a splitter added to it!!

What do you think to this; gsi - bumbers, f/fogs, and side skirts. Then tinted rear clusters, clear side repeaters and front indicators?

BTW would I have any probs fitting those skirts as mine's a 5door?

I wouldn't go for the full kit, remember this is only a 1.7D so I don't want people expecting me to race them then get disappointed! I'd just have the bumpers and skirts. Hell, I might even leave the badges on the back.

I find my driving suprises people alot, like when overtaking a Beamer 325i at 120mph, or burning off a boy racer in a focus 1.6 at the lights. I just love it when they see the badge on the back, so there's another reason to leave it on.

As for the respray, it needs some panels doing but there's only three colours I'd have this car in anyway; that's the colour it is now (Burgundy metallic), white, or dark blue metallic, so I think I'd save my notes and keep it this colour.

One idea I do like is having it this colour with a metallic gold reflection, it'd be nice if I had the money for it lol.

What colour were you thinking anyway Adam?

umm you wont make a convincing GSi with the colour that u got now because i've never seen one in that colour my fav colour for a car is black but thats a kinda bias decision with me having a black car i guess. what about a white base with a light blue laquer over the top, might look a little bit girly but will look proper bo!

I'd only put a full gsi kit on a faster car. The only two reasons I want one are to make it look better, and to increase the value, not to make it look faster when it's not. That's why I wouldn't have the bonnet or roof spoiler. I don't want it to look exactly like a gsi, do you get my drift?

I thought kits and wheels made the car worth less, because people assume it's been ragged
