Cruisewirral Rolling Road Day

[Linked Image]

Date : Saturday 5th March 2005

Time : 9:00am

Location : A & I (Peco) Acoustics Ltd
Sandford Street
Birkenhead
Merseyside
CH41 1AZ

[Linked Image]

The normal cost is £40 + VAT (£47:00) but with a group booking we have managed to reduce the cost to £30:00 in total per car. 20 cars are required to secure the reduced cost.

What do you get for your £30:00 ?

Your vehicle is checked for safety, oil and water levels, tyre conditions and pressures and One power run on the rolling road with a graph power (BHP) and torque printout. Peco's technician will drive your car to the Max to obtain your BHP & Torque figures. He will only rev the engine to what you tell him.

You will be entered into the Cruisewirral League table of results.

This rolling road is only suitable for 2 wheel drive cars.

We require a small deposit of £10 to confirm your booking (Payable in cash to Scooby at Autosafe Garage or Sally at the Cruisewirral Meetings).

Your £10 deposit must be paid at our next meeting at the very latest to confirm your booking (3rd March 2005) and the remainding £20 to be paid on the day.

It starts at 9:00am and runs until everyone is done. Each car takes approx 20 - 30 mins (20 cars x 20 mins) will finish approx 3:30 pm maybe. Its hard to judge really.

You get a BHP & Torque printout Jimbo thumbsup

We need one more car peeps, Tonymk2 has dropped out now smack

If we got 30 cars attending we could probably reduce the cost by £5.00 per car but i would need to confirm with Peco first ??

I think the CW van will push out approx 68 bhp smack

What do you think your car will produce ??

well ford state 74 BHP standard. So i think that mine is now 75
(take into account the 57i,cat back, larger pipe all the way back to twin 6x4 ovals with no silencer in the middle then its a tiny gain. The age of the engine would have reduced the standard figure tho and its only been modded for 15000 miles worth.)
Will the RR give a figure close to this or will it be 25% less (which is what i hear rollin roads display as its taken from wheels not the flywheel)

There is a calculation you can make to work out the flywheel BHP from the rolling road figures.

<b>If members wish to post there car details i will reply with BHP figures as standard so you can compare figures on the day think

im trying 2 get the day off work to come along. i want to have mine tested cos i was told my car is 140bhp even tho all the dealers say they are130. I plan to get the ECU remapped in the future so its handy to know what i have gained.
