This is my cousin Anita Stevenson. She has been missing one week today. She left her home in Bebington Road, Birkenhead, Wirral. There have been POSSIBLE sightings at New Ferry Refreshment Rooms, The Dell and Rock Ferry. Anita is 5'8 tall, has Blonde hair and a fair complexion. She is from Bradford so has strong Yorkshire accent. Her hair could be up and she could be distressed. Anita has children who want her home. The family are growing concerned. 13 days since Anita Stevenson went missing, we are unfortunately no closer to finding her, please keep posts circulating to help us, leads are coming in but not leading to much, cant stress enough though that people still keep messaging us or getting in contact with the police if they think they have seen her or do see her, please keep at it, it's you guys all standing together with us on this that is helping us get through it, thank you from me and all of our family for all the effort to try and find anita, we are truly grateful for all the help no matter how big or small #bringanitahome

Oh I do hope you find her soon Granny , must be so worrying. I didn't realise it was your cousin although it was stated in your message but I assumed you had taken it from facebook and was trying to help. I'm down The Dell every day because I have an auntie who lives there and am looking. Sure She will be found soon x

Same here cools wasn't sure how to read original post if it was Grannys cousin or just cut and pasted. If you haven't enough to deal with already Granny...Get suspicious when people disappear before some of the "darker" calendar days.
NO, she's not my cousin. The plea was written by her cousin and I just copied it from Facebook.
I have contacted the cousin and told her it is on this forum, for which she was grateful.. she is keeping an eye on any follow ups there may be on here.

Police hunting for missing Wirral mum Anita Stevenson have arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of Anita’s murder.
The 39-year-old was last seen by her partner at their home address on Bebington Road, Wirral on 18 October.
Yesterday police released a new image of Anita taken on the day she was last seen.
The man, from Birkenhead , has been taken to a police station where he will be questioned.
New photo shows missing Wirral mum Anita Stevenson on the day she vanished Police issued a re-appeal in their bid to trace the mum of one.
Anita is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, medium build, with shoulder length blonde hair and a pale complexion.
Missing Wirral woman Anita Stevenson Detective Chief Inspector Paul Denn, said: “Anita has been missing for two weeks now and we are becoming increasingly concerned about her welfare.
“It is completely out of character for Anita and she has never been known to leave her daughter for such a long time.
“Yesterday we issued CCTV footage of Anita and at this moment in time this is the last sighting we have of her. From the CCTV we know that Anita was in the Albany Road area of Rock Ferry, near to the Cock and Donkey public house on Well Lane and the PRM store on Albany Road, between approximately 11.20am and 12.20pm on Tuesday, 18 October.
“I would urge anyone who saw Anita in the area on that day, or who has seen her since to contact us. I would also like to appeal to Anita herself - Anita if you are out there please contact us, or your family who are desperately worried, to let us know you are safe.”
When Anita was last seen she was wearing black Nike leggings with a pink Nike ‘swoosh’, black, pink and white Nike Air Max trainers, a white or grey T-shirt and a blue Adidas jacket with red trim on the cuffs and neck, however, she could have changed into other clothes.
Anyone who has seen, or heard from Anita, or who knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact detectives on 0151 777 2265, or the Missing People charity on 116 000. Alternatively they can email the charity on [email protected]
after 10 days i was questioning if it could be her partner? i hope its not as the out come is sad enough for the kids and family.....apparently there was a lot of activity with cops in flaybrick in the last 48hrs wonder if its connected ?
