Seeing as we currently join BHC Weekly meetings i thought you had betta be aware of this post.
Well after yesterdays meeting with the land owners from the rock retail park we have some news, as expected we have to disassociate ourselves from the rock retail park as soon as possible. We had a heads up from the police they are beginning a crack down in the area and are going to get more and more severe till we move on from the site ie they are well prepared to dismantle cars and impose maximum penalties for minor offences even down to not having the correct amount of screen wash in the bottle They are also prepared to start confiscating cars as well to discourage us.
The police have also stated that they have had reports of drug dealing going on at the site and so if we persist in meeting there not only may we end up with a nice little keyring being made out of our cars but we may also get the rubber glove treatment
So we are now looking into being able to go on private land
Does anyone have any ideas???
We have already looked into the airfield by vauxhalls but they immediately refused.
So on tuesday we will be handing out leaflets advising people to move on from the site for all those who cannot get on the site.
Let me know your views on this Issue and any ideas peeps....

Sounds like a bad situation to be in. We all park up on a council car park, and we never really get that much hassle from the police to be honest Dunno what we'd do if the started clamping down. Try going out of town a little to find some spaces, the countrys full of grey concrete to be parked on

Hi all, I'm new to this site. Jay and a few others should know me. There is a piece of land on the Wallasey Dock Road owned by the mersey Dock & Harbour Co. It's opposite Stone Manganese and it has loads of logs on it. The gate is always open and it's not public land. I can get the land owners details if your wish. Also they own the land next to Duke Street Bridge which has the Dooor Store and Mazdon Construction on. There is a large car park there and I think it's lit. During the last 12 months or so, they have left he gate's open. How long they continue to do this no body knows. I would suggest writing to MD&H Co. because they own so much land from here down past Ellesmere Port. They own some parts of Cammell Lairds as well. I know lots of other places but technically they are public places. Did you know that most places like ind estates, units etc are still classed as a public place under the road traffic act. I should know because I got done when I was a kid on my crosser when I thought I was on private land. Just thought I'd mention this as we could be wasting our time looking for the wrong type of land. Maybe if someone has a legal friend they could ask.
Just a thought

well if bhc manage to get the land and it costs we could just do what warrington cruise do and charge people at the gate.
and hey the name doesn't need to be changed as its still in birkenhead

Its good to see you throwing ideas around guys, but we need to find, a car park capable of holding 150 to 200 cars, even more important floodlit if possible, and private land would be a bonus!!! PAZ VTR/WIRRAL

Some good banter going on here peeps.... The car parks in B/Head are gud however all a bit public being in the middle of B/Head like, I think would be right on to us there.... I think for now we should stay with last weeks location (No Names plz) until we can find a "Out of Town" Location......
Maybe the gravel car parks behind Europa though as they are private land as far as i know ??? The land owners are business man and they rent the land in the day to Day Shoppers for money in return... Heres a scinario for yous....
We offer them £200 to rent the land for a night maybe, Charge £2.00 a car on enterance Maybe. 100 Cars and its covered its costs, Hws that sound to peeps ?????

Several hundered pounds and there is on-going monthly costs to meet also, I would be happy if i could claw back some of this cash, but its not important to me though, what is important is keeping the meets going and arranging the cruises and convoys for the members etc....
