The 1938 directory,
Bridle Path,
Morris Griffiths, Plymyard Manor Farm.

Sited between Manor Rd and Kilburn Ave, where Princes Ave now is.

Me too Barry - always trying to dodge Farmer Griffiths who didn't really get on with us kids. I lived in the 'new' (1960/1) houses at the Bridle Road end of Princes Avenue.

BTW: I've got just a glimpse of that haystack on the corner of an aerial view photograph c1960 - I'd post it here, but I think you need to be 'User Plus' to view photos, (and I'm guessing you aren't). I'll post it if you want me to, but it isn't 100% clear.

I don't think I ever met farmer Griffiths but we did manage to kill a few of his rats!! How do you get to be 'User Plus'?
