Good Afternoon

I hope you are able to help, I am organising an event to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis with my friend Kat Garner. This is a charity which is close to us both, as I have MS and Kat’s both parents do also.
The event is a Cake Break which is being held on Saturday 28th March at St Lukes Church in Hoylake, there will be LOTS and I mean LOTS of cakes on sale, craft stalls, and bouncy castle and games for the children. A fun day! 
There is also a raffle which has amazing raffle prizes, all of which have been donated by the local businesses. We have been so lucky and we can’t express our appreciation enough. This is our third year in organising the cake break last year we raised over £5k year before £3800, so were hoping to raise more this year!

However my reason for contacting is to see if we can get more local people helping us raise the cash, so my thinking being if we can get as many people just donating £2 and in return they will be entered into the raffle. (see event page for the 47 prizes - one being mini ipad 2) If you could please pass this around to your colleagues/friends and help us beat MS!

If everyone that reads this donates £2 we will make so much!!! Please!

To donate your £2 you can simply txt MSCB51 £2 to 70070
Or online https://www.justgiving.com/cakebreak2015

If you have a list of people who are taking part in the raffle if you cold email me there names so I can add them to the raffle that would be great.

See also attached our leaflet and our facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/265130767030618/

Any sharing or advertising of the event would also be great appareciated.

Many thanks for you time

What a fabulous list of prizes from very generous donators.

Come on you lot. If you can buy off ebay, you can use the same process to spend £2 only, on a well deserved fund raising event.

Thank you Granny!

I know they truly are AMAZING prizes, we have been so lucky to have the local businesses wanting to support us. We are so grateful.

Your £2 strip is 4 tickets, so you have 4 chances of winning something, or if you can only afford 50p then your name will be written on one single ticket, its still a chance to win a £240 mini ipad, or one of the other fabulous prizes.

Over 400 views of this post we could have raised so much from each individual! Dig deep and don’t buy that chocolate bar buy a ticket instead. xx wink

I would imagine if somebody donates anonymously then they are happy not be included in the raffle or am I being too simplistic?

Your correct, but sometimes people don't like to ask, just because they are too nice!
